Customizing Cuyahoga

[Updated]

Also check the Template Development Guide, which can be downloaded from this location.

If you want to use Cuyahoga for your own site, you'll probably want it to look a little different than the site that comes with the package. The easy way is to just to alter the .css files and probably change the templates a little bit.
Dave Foderick has contributed a little howto. It comes with sample files included. Download this here.

When you want to change more than just the stylesheets and templates, for example, if you want different navigation, you are completely free to go as far as you like. Templates and navigation controls are built as ASP.NET UserControls and nothing stops you from creating your own. Use the existing ones as a sample for how this can be accomplished. Everything is located in the /Web/Templates directory.

Use the forums if you want more information about customizing.
