Sure, at one time we're probably going to use NHibernate 2.0. But not at this moment yet. Is there a compelling reason to switch (apart from being the latest and greatest version)?

The release notes show a fair few namespace changes. https://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=621482&group_id=73818So is it fair to say that Castle will have to update before Cuyahoga can update ? Here you can see that Castle trunk has been running off the 2.0 alpha version of NHibernate. So hopefully it should not be too long, since they have already managed the namespace changes. http://forum.castleproject.org/viewtopic.php?t=4304
if your doing it hard your probably doing it the wrong way....

I don't exactly know if the Castle NHibernate facility has been changed for NH 2.0. If not, it's possible to migrate to NH 2.0 while keeping the Castle RC3 stuff with a BindingRedirect. We've already done this in the past.
But Castle is a bit difficult. Everybody seems to use the trunk nowadays and it might be stable enough, but somehow, I just don't feel comfortable with it.

Martin,
i am wondering if the Castle project has lost its momentum.
The main guy is now working for MS, and the company "Castle Stronghold" is not large at all.
Do you know anything ?

The Castle Project has enough committers. Only issue is that it's very large, so it's difficult to create a solid 1.0 version with docs etc. In the feature, I think some of the Castle stuff will stay (definitely Windsor) while some may not (MonoRail vs ASP.NET MVC).
